It’s essential for any bike that its regularly maintained and serviced. In the long run, doing this will help to avoid further costs, prevent causing more damage to your bike and above all, remove any disappointment caused by not being able get out for a ride.

We have a number of service packages available that include some/all of the following;

  • General safety check (ensuring all components and parts are safe, secure, operational)
  • Inspected closely for any signs of damage and wear
  • Check tyre pressures
  • Inspect tyres for sign of wear (potential replace)
  • Inspect chain for signs of wear (potential replace)
  • Inspect bottom bracket for signs of wear (potential replace)
  • Ensure wheels are running true and hubs are ok
  • Check brakes (mech/hydraulic) – correctly adjusted and running smoothly 
  • Check gears (mech/electronic) – correctly adjusted and running smoothly 
  • Clean and lubricate
  • Check and adjust hubs, headset, bottom bracket, suspension
  • Replace brake blocks/pads and adjust calipers
  • Lubricate cables (replace if required)
  • Check cassette/freewheel for wear and clean/lubricate (if required)
  • Clean & lubricate chain and derailleurs
  • Check/tighten all nuts and bolts
  • Strip down and rebuild of your bike: Headsets, Bottom brackets, Hubs etc .
  • Full strip down and rebuild for frame re-spray (re-spray arranged by the owner)

Repairs are handled on a first-come, first-served basis. We do our best to provide a fast and accurate estimate, however sometimes the estimate can only be given after the bike has a had a more thorough diagnosis.  This is often the case when we are called upon to ‘figure out why my bike is making a strange noise.’
